The Grazing Manager (TGM) is a computer based, decision support tool for grazing management, with a history of over 20 years development and testing. The program is used to inventory forage and animal resources, and plan, monitor and adjust grazing management in response to the current year's forage growth conditions. It provides managers with information to maximize grazing potential, while maintaining a level of forage use that will sustain the land resource.

TGM and the concepts applied within were originally developed by Dr. Mort Kothmann and Ray Hinnant with support from the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station. TGM Version 4 has been developed under the direction of Agren, Inc. and Dr. Mort Kothmann. Funding for this work was provided by a Partnership Agreement with the USDA Federal Crop Insurance Corporation, through the Risk Management Agency. Although the information contained within the software, associated help files, and user manual are believed to be correct, Agren, USDA, and TAES assume no liability whatsoever in connection with the use of software or contents of the associated print materials by any person.
